My first verse in Iambic pentameter and another book..

Goaded by Fry to try my hand at verse
I wonder if this is better or worse

That is what I cooked up while in an auto on my way to office. I suspect a few syllables up there are out of sync, but like Fry urges, one must not think too much when one is just starting to get the meter. Part of the credit for the above is to Seth who wrote an entire book in iambic pentameter, (kindling an interest in the meter, hastening my purchase of Fry's The Ode Less Travelled) telling a sweet tale.

As tribute to Fry, bought yet another work of his, Making History today for Rs. 100 from Blossom.
