Vinod Rajan R.I.P.

A beloved friend and batchmate, someone I have known for almost half of my life passed away in an accident y'day.

God bless his soul.

He leaves behind a vast number of grieving friends and admirers. He was a good sport and an extremely popular guy. Was very sharp and hard working and great company. Extremely humble and sweet character.

While one can console oneself saying God takes away his best sooner, it is still devastating to know someone so close is around no longer.

Even as I posted this, a lightning bolt struck a spot a metre away while I was in a train, reminding one of the fragility of life.

Dear Vinod, Wish You Were Here...

Very sad to hear this. I think we have already lost way too many of our batchmates in the last 6 years.

Yashoda got in touch with his family.
He has told them that we can help if needed and left his contact details. Right now, we don't want them to get bugged also.

Yes - i think you are right. It was IIM-L and not IIM-B.

This is very shocking. Vinod was a great guy. Will miss him terribly.

Do you know what happened? My email id is thomasptony@gmail.com and i would appreciate any info to get in touch with his family.

Thank you

Hi

I knew Vinod from my days at Indegene. He was the first set of students to do internship (PS-II) at Indegene. Great guy. Will definitely pray for his soul to rest in peace.

A great guy.

Dear dhammo,

More than a year passed and we (parents and younger brother) could not come out of the shock, depression and profound grief. Vinod spent most of his life happily with friends only. Your post and the comments of other friends confirm this fact. Especially, I understand that he enjoyed your company since Kumaran School days. I thank you very much for your post which is an excellent tribute to him and a timely communication to all his friends. I thank all the other friends who shared their views and passed on condolences. I am sure Vinod is still living in the hearts of every one who knew him.

Regards,
V.Rajan (father of Vinod)
